Finally took some pics
It took me a while, but I finally gave the ride a summer detail
Painted the calipers black with some silver Lexus stickers. Wheels are PIAA Super Rozzas - 18x8 +35. I installed 3mm shims because the wheel spokes would have just barely touched the calipers.
Tires are 255/40s. They rub the fender liners when the wheel is close to locked, but no rubbing issues while driving
Both kids all cleaned up:
Next up is repainting the front and rear ends, getting a clear bra installed, and maybe some audio upgrades.

Lol... it's a daily driver (in Northeast Ohio) so bigger wheels and a drop are the worst thing possible! I've bent 3 wheels on my IS when it was my DD, so I learned the hard way.
Better? That's all opinion - I like em as is
The bumper is foggy looking from whoever attempted to paint it before I got it It cleans up decent, but it definitely needs to be redone correctly. Good eye!
As for products - I do a 3 or 4 step process depending on how much love the car needs.
First I always use a paint cleaner with a heavy cut foam pad on the buffer.
If the car is in rough shape I'll use a medium cut pad with a polishing compound, otherwise I'll go with the light cut pad and a sealing wax. I've been using all Meguiar's cleaners/waxes with the buffer as they are easy to get and the results have been good.
After that I always hand wax to finish it off, with Zymol being my latest favorite. It's not easy to apply, but the results are well worth it!
