Haha, I remember when you were first asking about it a few weeks ago. It really is a great DIY project. Did you (and the OP) put your car up on jackstands? That was the only part that I had minor trouble with, because the underbody of the 2IS seems so soft and I didn't want to damage something by choosing the wrong mounting spot.

^^^ Exactly my concern.

Since I will be doing this soon when I'm doing another mod, can someone please tell me where is good place to put the jackstands? I read on the jack point thread that the side rail is soft and will dent if we put it there on jackstands.

Check out post #7 in this thread Paul: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...ck-stands.html. I uploaded pics of where I put the jack stands - on the control arms. Didn't have any problems, you just have to make sure it's sturdy (no matter where you put the stands).

hahaha yea, No i just kept it up with the jack i used to jack it up with. I shouldve bought a jack stand but i got lazy LMAO. But when my friend replaced my rotors and pads he found a great spot for the jack stand which is right in the middle of the car, he says its the frame

How did that work? You only did one caliper at a time, over the course of 4 days? (You're supposed to let the G2 stuff dry for 24 hours.)
