08 GS 460 DIY Valve Cover Gaskets Replacement

Hey Guys,

I tried searching the forum and could not find any DIY on how to replace the valve cover gaskets on a 08 GS 460. I appreciate any help.

Uh oh... I dealt with leaking valve cover gaskets on my SC400 several times. Hope to god this isn't a common 4.6 problem

How come you had to do it several times?

I'm not sure if mine are. I smell burnt oil so I am assuming it's that. I only have 100k miles on the car.

Since these came out I haven't done a set yet. Ive seen some 460s come in with leaking orings around the high pressure fuel pumps and spark plug tube seals leaking but that's it.
