Default Please help this NOOB!!!

Purchased my gs350 awd for couple of months and I'm bout ready for some rims!!! I've read thru tons of posts and haven't got a good answer so please any input is appreciated! My question is, will staggered rims fit in awd? If so what fitment will be good? I'm not planning to drop my car because I enjoy the comfy ride. If not staggered rims, what would do fine?im looking for nice rims to look good and kinda fill in the gap. My buddy gave me some custom 20s that he had on his gs350 rwd, but not sure it will fit or it might mess up tranny by the weight of car. Sorry so very new at this! This will be my first ever upgrade on any car and don't want anything to go wrong! I'm also interested in some vossens new or used for a good price so if any CL members have any to sell on me! My stock wheels are the 7 spoke kind and I'm also willing to trade those with some cash for the stock blade ones!! Thanks again and so happy with the gs!

why not making a quick call to the official dealer and see what they recommend, so you don't accidentally go to a guy that doesn't know what they are doing?

if you choose Vossen and go with recommended fitments you won't have issues.

20x9 +32 or +38
20x10.5 +45
245/30/20 and 285/25/20

+35 in the front and +40 rear should clear with those sizes, especially with an AWD and no drop.

20's on an AWD with no drop is going to look like poo IMO.

Staggered wheels aren't an issue for AWD as long as they're closely matched in diameter.

yes the circumference of the front and rear have to be real close. but you can run staggard in width.

Just make sure your rotational difference is less than 1%. You could always run a square setup and stagger your offset.

Does anybody have an gs awd pic w/ 20s? Drop and no drop. Thanks everyone for input so far!! What would be best setup if I do decide to drop? No sacrifice to the stock ride? I'm really new at mods, so sorry first of I sound stupid.

Look for the post called "Request! 3GS Lowered pics! AWD ONLY!" on the FIRST page of the 3G form.

also it wont "fill in" the gap (wheel gap) because you are keeping the overall diameter the same. it will actually make the gap stand out more since the height of the sidewalls are now thinner
