Default Bad Day

So I hit a pot hole today and bust my front passenger tire, and possibly bent my frame on the front end. Anyone know how much this may cost to repair? If it is too expensive, I may just trade the car in and get a newer model. I have an 07 350 AWD. Pissed off!!!!

you bent your frame hitting a pot hole? what is your rim like? you sure it's not at most bent suspension arms / alignment off?

It may be suspension arm because I got an alignment and the guy said that he got it as straight as he could, but I can tell that it is still off. I'm taking it to the dealer tomorrow to get it checked out.

I doubt you bent a frame...

But GL either way, a bent frame is usually straight impact on it, is your whole front end all wobbled up or something?

You should have stopped, called the police and made a report, then contact the city, they usually will settle with you on the cost to repair, I know in Chicago you can do this... Just a thought...

Get with the city...out here in CA I have two friends who had similar things happen and both times the city paid for repairs. Make sure you have pictures.

I took pics right after it happened. I already contacted the city and I am filing a claim. About to take car to the dealer now so I hope my warranty covers whatever the problem is. Thanks fellas

So I took my car to the dealer and they have to tear down the steering column to see if the problem is there. This is the pothole.

How fast were you going! that seems like normal roads around here..... I have seen potholes that scared me that I would lose a wheel, that seems like nothing. I can't believe you did so much damage on that.

I'm assuming you have the AWD 17" wheels? There should be a decent chunk of rubber...I can't believe it blew out on you.

When my suspension was SHOT, as in non-working anymore, a simple pothole like that blew out the tires on my car...... Like everyone here, something HAS to be wrong with your car for it to blow a tire on a dip like that..... FL roads are worse sometimes, and my car, stock AND on bags barely feel anything on those little dips.

We're not here to argue, but definitely have your struts and other suspension components checked out, GL!
