2007 GS 350 Door Hinge Problem

I highly doubt those hinge pins are hollow, when you consider the amount of weight that is hanging on them. I don't think hollow pins would hold up for very long.

I have a 2006 GS300 in the UK and have owned it for 6 months. Both rear doors have been stiff since Day #1, but after reading this thread I drilled the holes, lubed things, and things are already better after a couple of days. Thanks very much to the guys who posted regarding the drilling of the hinges.

Default I fixed my LS460 passenger door with this method

Thanks for sharing the info about drilling a small hole in the hinge and lubricating it. It took me 10 mins to fix my door.
i actually had purchased hinges and was going to install them but I tried this method first. I am glad I did.
