Door problem!!

I have had this problem for a while:

Yes I know the procedure. Where did I get that? I SEAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRCCHHHHHHHHHHED

My passenger side door will NOT open from the OUTSIDE only.

I just picked up the suggested door clip (I have the number somewhere) from my local Toyota dealer.

I finally got around to putting in tonight. It went in with a snap (pun intended). However, it seems like if you open the door too hard, the clip pops right out.

Any ideas or is this just going to be another thread people read over and don't answer?

try some jb weld or epoxy of some sort

gah...I had the same problem. i had to take all of the driver door insides off of the salvage door and put it on my door and now it works like a champ. My door latch assembly was totaly busted and it was $350 at the dealer and I got it for 25
