Default 2013 GS350 loaner

I have dropped off my 08 GS350 to do recall this morning. I have requested 2013 GS350 as loaner which I was accommodated with. I have to say that I am disappointed. I really like the way it looks inside and outside, BUT not impressed with driving dynamics. Actually it feels like driving a boat. The exhaust note is nice, but doesn't feel sportier. For sure will be looking at other alternatives when ready to trade in.

When I had my valve spring recall, they charged me $129 for the new plugs, no labor.
$92 for rear differential fluid change is a good deal.

Took my car into herb chambers lexus of Sharon. Great facility and helpful staff. Makes me wish I would have bought my car there. Hopefully, after this service recAll we will be clear for a good while. If not, I may trade her in or end up selling her. She's a great runner when in tip top, so I would hate to see that happen.

On another note, they gave us a rx350 for a loaner. First time in the new gen Lexus, and was expecting more. Not sure if it would be worth the switch unless going to a ls460h or ls600hl IMO. However, those new S class Mercedes are starting to look very attractive.

I just had my recall done too and got rid of the grinding noise on cold start-up. Feels a lot more solid, last time I had some minor rough idles but so far it got rid of those too! Takes one day and I got a 2014 ES loaner while I waited!

I brought my 2007 GS350 to dealership for recall. They gave me 2013 GS350 loaner. It a great SUV and headlights look cool compare to 2013 GS. After my GS recall finished from service, the engine back to normal and no more noise.

So does this mean I'm out of luck with my '06? I hear the rattle on cold starts too!

Got my letter in the mail Tuesday. Called Hennessy Lexus and was told they are only doing 3 recalls a day so my appt. is schedule for Nov. 26. My question is are we allowed to take loaner vehicles out of town since I am seeing quite a few folks saying their recall work took more than a day. Hennessy Lexus is saying the estimated time is a day to a day and a half. But with Thanksgiving being that week, I don't want them saying they have to have my baby longer and I can't take the car out of Ga. because I'm doing Thanksgiving in Charlotte.
