I have been thinking about this too.
If we remove the headlight from the car and remove all the electronics. then we can pull in some liquid cleaning solution and flashes it inside. Than air dry. This will avoid all the cooking part.

actually, ur onto something there worker. You can pour in alcohol, rubber band a cotton swab to a chopstick or something, and do some cleaning for the highbeams. the low beams i'm unsure.....
Don't forget Worker, Alcohol doesn't harm electronics, neither does electronics cleaning solution. I think they both clean the same thing.
