not quite sure why you would want to drill into a headlight, considering you will get much more moisture under the headlight if you do that. the easiest thing to do is take all of the lights out of the back of the headlight. next, take a, airhose with a blowgun attached and use a flexible piece of vacuum hose to blow the air around until it dries. BE VERY CAREFUL! if you use to much pressure you can blow out the lens and create a bigger problem and potentially injure yourself. unfortunately most of the time some moisture will still remain in the headlight. what i would do is remove the headlight carefully, and place the healight in your kitchen stove at a low temp, about 125 to 135 degrees for a couple minutes. make sure you put the headlight in with the clear lens facing up and dont leave it in for more than 3 minutes. if u do this right, when you remove the headlight, you should be able to slowly seperate the lens from the back pieace of the housing. dry the entire unit andf wait for everything to cool down. when you reassemble the headlight, make sure you use good sealant, either clear or black, and do not miss any spots when resealing it or you will end up with the same issue. let the sealant dry and cure for at least 24 hours. this will save you a lot of money if it is done right, but do not take this on if you have little experience with cars.

if it were my car...... I would remove the headlight, find out where the opening is located and seal that up.. than use a hair dryer or something to blow in dry air to remove all that moisture.. put everything back.

sometimes the opening isn't visible. i have also seen moisture in headlamps from people failing to install their headlights or turn signals properly. always make sure the seal is complete and seated in the proper location when installing lights.
