Default Help!! Drl stopped working

WHATS UP CL, THIS MY 1ST POST AND IM HAVING SOME ISSUES WITH MY DRL ON MY 08 GS350 AWD. I RECENTLY GOT LED DRL's FROM iJDMTOY WENT TO INSTALL & LIGHTS DID NOT WORK. CALLED iJDMTOY & EXPLAINED MY SITUATION & THE REP HAD ME CHECK THE FUSES. SEEMS I BLEW OUT SOME FUSES BUT I REPLACED THE FUSES, I WENT BACK TO STOCK & STILL HAVE THE SAME ISSUE, LIGHTS WONT COME ON. STOCK OR LEDS. I TESTED THE STOCK HARNESS & IT WAS LIVE PRIOR TO THE FUSE CHANGE BUT SINCE HAS GONE DEAD. IF SOME1 CAN PLZ HELP ME FIGURE OUT WHAT TO DO I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE IT.

ALSO IF SOME CAN POINT ME IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION TO EXACTLY WHERE THE DRL FUSE IS TO DOUBLE CHECK IF THE FUSE I AM REPLACING IS CORRECT. THANX IN ADVANCE

Is your caps locks broken?

On another note, check the fuse box in the engine bay and see if that says "Hi-beam" or "DRL."

Also check in the passenger side under the glovebox and see if the fusebox has the same as above...

You also have a fusebox in the trunk on the driver side.

Wish I had my car but it's still in the dealership.

Have the dealer turn them off. There's no manual way to turn them off, has to be done through computer, dealer shouldn't char you anything to do this.

It's most likely the fuse in the car I can't remember if it's on the passenger or driver

My wire harness had burned out a few months ago and they said I had to replace it. was about $200 for everything... I don't see how if I had stock lights.

wiring harness? that doesn't sound right. You could ALWAYS DIY the situation, if you know which section is burned up, you can always cut about 3-6in from each side and put a same gauged wire inbetween, solder if you have decent soldering skills or butt connector each end with:

Make sure to have shrink wrap available, shrink wrap everything and make sure no moisture. That's a DIY fix for maybe $10 at most? That includes excessive wire for you to use for the future.

I've never heard of the wiring harness burn out with O.E. specific bulbs. I use to run my Garax bulbs on everytime I took a drive and I never managed to burn out my wiring harness.
