Looking for a GS
I've been looking for a white 2008+ gs450h and I found a nice one right here in Houston. It has 65,000 miles and the dealer is asking 26k (Non Negotiable). What are your thoughts?

I would still bargain them down to 25k, though if I really really like the car and everything else check out good in person, I would take it at 26k.
Carfax record looks good. Seems like it's well maintained by one Lexus dealer, and the somewhat major 60k tuneup is done. Car seems to have most (if not all) of the available options: Nav, ML, Lexus Links. Check to see if it comes with spare tire.
Ad says 65k miles. Carfax say 67,548. Make sure you notice that and straight out the difference.
A lot of owners get rid of RFT if equipped. Make sure you take that into consideration as well.

Used Hybrids dont hold a strong resale value as non-hybrids. Be patient you will find the vehicle you want for the price that you want. Now that tax season is starting to fizzle down, you should be able to find better deals out there.
LOL - non negotiable. Says who? The salesman? His manager? The owner of the dealership? If you peeled off 25,975 in green American cayyysh, would they sell you the car? Of course they would so now the question is how much MORE negotiable are they
FYI, back when gas shot up around 2008, I had my eye on a Navigator at a local Lincoln dealer. They had been wanting 23,900 and had dropped it to a "firm" 20,000. I also learned there had been a couple deals on it that failed to go through due to financing, which I used as the carrot during negotiations. "Look, I've got 750 credit and I am gonna buy one, question is will it be THIS one". Drove it away with a full tank and a full detail at $14k. So be a firm negotiator and stand your ground. Don't fall in love with the vehicle, unless there are NO others like it around. Not the case with GSs or Navigators

Yeah I would negotiate a little as I personally know the GS 450h prices have tanked, they have probably had that car on the lot for a while and are trying to get rid of it give them a fair price or walk out the door. Make sure the waterpump and spark plugs are checked as spark plugs should be changed around that time and the water pump has been failing early mine had failed at 70K. Good Luck!

If this is the absolute car you love, I say go for it! Looks like a clean car, and its not badly priced for the mileage.
If it's a car you love I would say it's truly up to you if the price is not where you want it I would walk away, something always comes up even better. The car has been sitting there for a while and they probably purchased the car close to that price. I would go in give them the price you want to pay and if they say no walk away. If the car is still there in a week than just get it for that price, I say wait cause usually they call and say do you still want that's my view. Good luck!
