Trunk problems

Hey everyone...
For some reason my trunk will only open from my remote it wont open from the panel where the trunk button and gas button is. The gas button opens but not the trunk. any ideas. I checked the glove box and made sure it was not locked but for some reason the button on the panel wont open my trunk anything helps!!!

sounds like the valet switch is turned on

Check the MPX-B fuse, if it's good then disconnect your battery and put it back in

Mine started doing the opposite - will open from the dropdown panel button but not the remote. And yes I've tried the glovebox valet switch

fresh battery in the remote fob?

I think that the remote release using the fob is a personalized setting that can be configured in a few different ways (double press on remote, press and hold, or disable). Has it ever worked with the fob and just recently stopped working.
