low coolant

Default low coolant

I have a 2007 GS 350, my coolant is at the low mark. should i be worried about this? have anyone had this this problem?

i didnt check when its warm but i will now. i was reading some ES forum were the water pump was leaking.

just check while the car was warm. coolant at the low level mark

If the coolant level still in low mark when engine is fully warmed then you should have it checked out.

Don't risk it, you may have a bad water pump

Check this link out, GS350 pumps go out often, so if your car has mileage its best to replace it right away.

yeah I would get it checked, you could have a bad water pump like ibidu1 said, I had the same issue but I caught it early, someone on the forum wasn't so fortunate. Yes it should be covered under your power train warranty.

had my car checked out by lexus today. they told me I had air pocket in coolant system which came from the last time it was there beening serviced for cam gears replacement

I have a heard time believing the tech didn't bleed the radiator before letting it leave. Have the pump inspected

I wish they would have just replaced it(still under warranty) but they didnt because they found nothing wrong
