Do I need extend studs?
Hello. Do I need to replace to longer studs if I put 5mm spacer on?

Nope. But anything longer than 5mm is when you would need extended studs. Make sure you torque them completely and torque again within a week or two.

Wow, didn't know you could run 5mm's with OEM studs! Isn't that risky?

Depends a lot on your rims, and how thick your hub is on the wheel. Buy it, and try it! Worst case you run to napa and buy some longer studs.

many on here are running with out extended studs, I wouldn't risk it. This is where custom rims are best so you don't have to use them period.

I agree with Mike. I wouldn't risk it. Not worth the safety factor, IMO

I agree that 5mm it is not necessary. Done it on several cars w o any problems. Anything larger yes.

No, just one time thing a couple weeks after you put your wheels on to make sure they stay on tight. If you ever loosen all your lugnuts and take the wheel off I'd recommend doing it again.
