Default Loud Pop!

Its been a few months since i had my coilovers installed now. Past 2 to 3 months i have been hearing a loud pop when i turn my steering wheel when stationary so asked around and some of them told me it maybe my Tie rod. Another strange thing is that this pop comes at times and doesnt at sometimes which is strange and when i jack up the car and stuff i dont hear it at all also when the car is on smooth surface like in a Garage or something i dont hear the pop at all. I dont seem to know where the Loud pop is comming from and cant seem to pin point it. I want to know if anyone one else has faced this problem? Also when i jacked the car up to see the issue everything looked fine even my CV axle looked fine no wear and tear on it or anything. Also if its my Tie rod has anyone tried to replace them and fix theirs ?

Thank you In advance
1SloGS.

Best thing to do is lay under the front of the car and have someone turn the steering wheel. You should see where is comes from, because it could be a number of things.

Loose bolts on the coilsover
Loose steering rack
tie rod
ball joint
A-arm bushings
Top perch of the coils

i had the same problem. its really embarrassing. I had a friend of mine just replace my pads and rebuild my brake calipers. I no longer hear it anymore. You may have a clip missing from your pads or you may have a locked up caliper all together. If the caliper is locked. they just lube it up really good. Locked caliper equals pads sticking!

We Pinpointed the problem and found out that its my outer tie rod thats knocking on my Brake Cover thats behind the Disk and the guy who checked it told me i must have hit a pothole which must have caused it to move out of place and i remember that i was driving thru NY and hit a really bad pothole in the lincoln tunnel and thats what must have done it.
