Default 15mm spacer??

on my gs430 running 15mm spacer would I need extended studs?

yes ! running any spacer the extended studs are reccomended

yes you would need longer studs. you can also buy kics spacers with the intergrated studs. installation is easy. no hassle of pounding out the old.

we have a new vendor that is selling the bolt on Type II vs, I had them on a previous lexus and they are great and priced good. It takes about 5 minutes to install and you dont replace any studs and they remove easily also. check it out!

yeah, that vendor is selling the Ichiba units, which are supposedly the best out there aside from maybe H&R. you'll either need extended studs or the spacers with built in studs.

ok so for anything greater than 10mm i'm gonna need extended studs right?
Therefore im guessing we need longer lug nuts too?

no even the 5mm spacers the studs are recommended

yep...5mm its recommended to run longer studs. Its easy to pound them out and install the new ones.

Well, I ran 5 mm spacers and did NOT install the longer studs....worked fine....still had plenty threads for the lug nuts.

if you have wheels with the big center caps that cover the lugs, be careful that the extended lugs will clear the center cap.

i personally ran into this problem..
