Replacing Nav DVD - Please Help
Good morning:
I have a 2006 GS300 and per the suggestions here, I purchased the latest nav dvd from Sewell (thanks). Silly me, thought it would be a no-brainer to switch them. I'm aware the system is in the glove box, but I'm unable to figure out how to access the unit. I have looked for some sort of a guide everywhere, but have had no luck.
Will somebody please offer suggestions on how I can do this?
Thanks much.

Yes, I did order and receive the 4th gen. However, I looked in the glove box and did not see an eject button. Am I that mechanically challenged? While that could be, the entire unit is covered and seems boxed in. Clearly I'm missing something.
Thanks,
Jan
Crossing fingers!
Many thanks again!
Ciao!
Also note, after you put in the new DVD your Nav will take a bit of time to update. My guess is the Map DVD also have a few minor fix.
Oh, one fix is removing the tech menu. Tech menu is a hidden menu. It has other settings and also the satelite signal display each satelite and it's signal strength. But the one most beneficial is disable the gray out when your car is moving. Forgot what that called. I don't know if the update remote this tech screen completely or move it elsewhere.
