Default Visors

I recently purchased a set of AVS visors and the quality sucked..The plastic has multiple pits eveyrwhere and the shape of it is just not eye pleasing. I am going to return it today.

Why is the JDM so much more expensive for our GS than any other cars?? 2nd Gen is only $150, but our GS costs close to $400...WTF???

I agree with you OP.

Maybe its because our car isn't as popular to mod (yet). I'm sure prices will come down once there is more of a demand.

I understand you paid for the quality. I was talking about comparing to other such as JDM OEM visors for 2nd Gen GS. Same quality, but hella lot cheaper....

Have a 4-piece set en route from Climair in Germany.
Will be able to provide some photos and feedback on how I think theirs is.
Was almost tempted to buy the AVS ones after seeing saefong's upgrade thread, but after visiting the website and watching an installation video, I wasn't convinced they were worth considering.

After watching that fully, I saw the name WeatherTech, so can only presume that's the name for the same thing over there.

I am not sure about you but I have the AVS window visors on my GS and I have no complaints they look great and does not cause any issues for me at all.

I had considered getting the AVS ones, but keep waiting for some JDM ones instead. Seems like it's the right choice.

The 2gs visor doesn't have the chrome bezel like the 3gs visor. That's why it cost more.

I have had the avs visors. The quality of plastic sucks very easy to crack it. I compared them side by side to oem and its a night and day difference. Mine cracked on the driver side and i took them all off. To be honest oem visors are awesome but not worth the price. The geman visors are crap also they go inside the weather strip and scratches the window at very top, they also are not strsight they have a hill in the middle after installation but quality is almost oem. If i was to do it over again i wouldnt get any. If you are willing to spend the money oem only.

stick to the jdm oem ones. i have them and love them. i believe it's the demand for each of the cars, that's why it's more expensive for ours and cheaper for others.
