What do you guys recommend for fender work on the 3GS? I've read that it's best to roll the fronts and shave the rears. I have a conservative setup but I'd rather be safe than sorry.

 

That is correct. If you roll the rear you you might get some waves and then need bodywork done to smooth it out. I know this because I'm going through that process on top of we pulled my rear a little. Safer to shave it to where you need it so you don't rub. Post some pics when its done.

 

i shaved front and rear. VERY minor rolling up front. all is well

Yup shaved all mine to. Much better than rolling.

 

Where in CA are you? I'm in the bay. I had someone roll all my fenders andvit turned out pretty good.

 

rolling the front is ok but dont do the back. i had my rears rolled and the shop i used completely f'ed it up.
