No problem, After I found this TSB I will also be removing mine, Just a thought but you guys think its has something to do with aerodynamics? Like wind would stop against the plastic thingy? Just a thought don't flame me

I don't think the actual plastic piece is to be removed... Notice the part about tape residue. I think there might have been a taped pad on the black plastic pieces to protect it and most of our cars have this piece already removed (the taped on piece)- not the screwed on black plastic piece.

Technical Service Bulletin

Lexus dealers will often fix issues when your car is within the factory warranty.

It clearly states to Remove the covers completely. Do NOT leave any tape residue, The picture also shows the wholre plastic piece to be removed. If you look at other cars they don't have no weird plastic piece in front of their front wheel.

I would leave them, it's added protection how I see it.

Actually I see it other way around, If you drive the car in snow and snow keeps hitting it as its not aerodynamic it will start to rip of the base where it holds on to and cause damage. This is probably how I lost my back piece is driving in snow. Anyways next time my car is on the lift I will be taking them off.
