Default Help with footwell lighting...

This is my first post on this site so plez forgive me if im asking something posted (although I've searched everywhere already).

I'm noticing that my GS footwell lighting doesn't come on when I open the doors although the setting is on "DOOR". THe dome lights come on normally but the footwell lighting of all seats (passenger and the 2 rear) doesn't come on. Is this normal for a 2006 GS300? or is there a way to program it to come on?

Dont think that is possible, unless you cut a wire. its an automatic light.

Thx for the reply!!! I finally decided to take the car to lexus to let them take a look at it...turns out that footwell lightings are supposed to come on with the dome lights when any door is left ajar even without ignition-on.... they somehow "reset" the light settings and now it's working again !!! im no longer left in the dark when i open the door

Did they mention how they were able to reset them?

I think its a setting you can change with Techstream, but I haven't checked the personalized settings in a while.
