HI GUYS ,

I AM NEW TO THESE FORUMS , JUST BOUGHT A GS 08 350 AWD AND LOVE IT BUT HERE`S MY PROBLEM ; I'VE JUST BROUGHT MY CAR TO CHANGE MY WINTER TIRES ON IT AND THE FRONT BRAKE PADS ( NOT THE DEALER ) AND THAT FLASHING EXCLAMATION MARK IS ON AND CHECK SYSTEM IS SHOWN ON THE DASH BOARD . OF COURSE , WE'VE CHECK THE SENSORS FOR THE TIRE PRESSURES ON ALL FOUR WHEELS AND EVERYTHING SEEMS TO BE FINE ... CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHATS GOING ON OR HOW COULD I FIX THIS CAUZE IT'S BUGGIN ME !! I'VE TO RESET THE TIRE PRESSURE SETTINGS AND PRESSING THAT BUTTON UNDER THE GLOVES BOX AND STILL DIDNT FIX IT.

welcome to club lexus.

umm, did the shop bleed the brakes? or did they push back on the caliper pistons to fit in the new pads? i wonder if that triggers the computer to throw a code

bleeding off the brakes triggers the VSC, ABS and check engine sometimes
you need to reset the code using Intellegent tester II,
i think your brake is not as smooth as it was???

yea its not the tires, maybe they hit one of the sensors? can you pull codes with an OBD II reader? If so I would be curious. With all the technology in these cars it could be something that your not considering. I know the speed sensors are very sensitive on this car and Im guessing they may have pulled on the wire to much when they did the brakes. If this is the case then the OBD wont pull this code. It will require a toyota or lexus dealer.

engage the parking brake and then reset the TPMS, assuming you already switch to your second set of sensors (button under the pass glove compartment) and your car is already programed for both TPMS sets, good luck
