I just had my front pads replaced by a local Kauffman Tire dealer. When I picked the car up the brakes were hard to push/not very responsive. Also, the slip (traction control) light was on in addition to Check ECB, Check VSC, Brake, and ABS lights were on. Kauffman said to bring it back in. What I am wondering now is if these brakes are bled in a different manner than normal non-hybrid vehicles? Thoughts?

 

I wouldn't let a tire/lube place touch my 450h.

I would be VERY weary of them doing anything right, including a simple brake bleed. Should be the same procedure as a 350/460, but I'm not sure.
