I think it's pretty good. If its got ML, park sensors and rear sun shade...even better. Is it the color combo you want?

I would have thought it was a little high till you said CPO. I think that's a good deal as well.

Could be all about timing. AWD heading into a IL winter. Dealership has probably priced the vehicle on the perceived demand of an AWD vehicle.

Still sounds like a decent deal of it is fairly loaded with the CPO.

Its about timing and region. I'm assuming thats the asking price and the OP hasn't tried to negotiate lower yet.

Which dealer did you go through? What color was it? What was the asking price? Thanks

The car is from New Jersey and I am having it trucked here. I'm trying to get one of my friends out there to see it, before i get it. The trucking fee is also included in the 29700. The car doesn't have ML. Out here in IL the dealers are "asking" like 33-36 for a CPO 08 with around 30k miles on it and they are mostly the red color. I can't find a black one to even try working a deal. Out here they have 07 gs350 for around 30-31 asking, but there problem is I can't find a black one. any suggestions on where to find a "better deal". I am willing to drive a little for the right deal. I just want it to be black exterior, the interior can be ivory or black and have navigation. ML would just be a bonus. Thanks

I'm from NJ and have been looking for a GS350 the past few weeks. From what I have been seeing in the area that sounds like a good deal for a CPO.

If a car has a accident on the carfax, how much does it affect the value?

It doesn't always show up. If/when it does, it deters buyers.

I watched prices for a few months and finally settled on a 2008 GS350 CPO at a Lexus dealer in NE Ohio for $30,000.

44,000 miles. Charcoal with grey interior, all extras except ML. The dealer in Cincinnati wouldn't go lower than $34,000 for the exact same car with same miles (only difference was the dark interior).

I really feel that $30k was a good deal. It was first titled in September 2008. That made a little bit of a difference to me.

I'm sure the prices will drop significantly when the 2013 models come out early next year.

Well seeing as its an 08 and they are about to come out with the new GS in Jan. I would shoot for $27,500 even with CPO but the price isnt bad but I think you can lower than that, if it has the ML and parking sensors than that is the price you would look at.
