Is the GS the only Lexus with the large (SUPER SIZED) font VIN stamped on the firewall? What is the exact purpose of this text being so large?

 

Every car i've owned has had the vin stamped on the firewall, not just Lexus.

We live in a dishonest world. You can easily change out the other vin numbers on the car, changing this one would take a lot more work.

 

I should clarify because it sounds like a stupid question.

I'm asking why is the VIN so LARGE on the GS (engine side) firewall? I know most, if not all cars have a VIN there, but this is one of the largest I have seen. Is this super sized "text" unique to the GS?

Not that unique, I've seen my my mothers X3 and my fathers Mercedes Benz with that size. Its probably to help deter would be criminals.
