Exclamation Please HELP LKAPIMP!!! (need an intake gs300)

I have been desperately trying to find a intake for my 2006GS 300 and the only one I can find for it is the Fujita short ram air and noone I have talked to can get it or has it does anyone know if there is any other intakes that are compatible, are the ones for the GS 350/430 going to fit on my car??? this has become sooooo frustrating I need a intake dammit. So can someone please help a fellow Lexus family member out lol........................... thanks!!

What are you looking for?

-A short ram intake for under the hood with no other mods?

Pretty much anything you find for the 2gen GS with your engine will work
"or" Have a shop make a mandrel bent pipe for you and just get a filter

-A larger intake for performance that will require some sort of piggy back tune?

Then find or buy the SRT intake for the 2gen and get a Apexi Neo and tune the car with your exhaust and intake (gets my vote) You can also have a shop make this for you.

I don't think you need to fiddle with your ECU. As long as you don't touch your MAF's, you're fine!

Yes you can do this just need to stay with in factory spec. I think that its 2.5" but confirm that first. Best person to check with woulb be member JoeZ (he may be able to help get you a tube made for your car if you ask)

This is only true if you dont increase the pipe size. If he was to go with the SRT or make something of similar size then he would need a tune for the extra air that the engine is taking it. It wont self correct as I tried this on my car and it ran lean in bank 1 & 2.

Honestly, I would just remove the airbox and stick a cone filter in there!

I've been looking for intake for a while too... I own a GS300 2007 RWD, and before ppl start saying that does not exist ...it does in Asia, they still make GS300 till now... Back to the question I've been trying to look for an intake for a while too i cam across the Fujita saw a video of it on "youtube" on an IS300 does not sound that bad... however recently i have come across this http://www.horsepowerfreaks.com/perf...es/Air_Intakes
check it out.... would love to hear how it sounds though. As for F Sport accessories. unfortunately you can forget that. all F sport performance parts are for the GS350+.

Fujita is the only one, im in the same boat as you. If you can make your own......unless its a cold air instake, SRI are useless....

Fujita is the only one. Almost same situation as 2GS owners . Although weapon R also make sone for 2GS. I hear lots of folks get a CEL with these intakes.

Completely different car and engine!
There's more scope to tune than the 300's V6, hence being able to work with larger volumes of air.

You can do that, all you have to do is verify the MAF sensors are interchangable (so that your GS300 MAF can fit on the GS350 MAF replacement area) and also you need to verify that you have enough piping to go back there.

From a picture i've looked at. (very vague

A GS300's intake is in the rear, just like a 350, so if you can pull me up a photo of the GS350 and GS300's engine bay without the cover on, I can give you a very vague yes or no.
