when you say tail light bulb size and stop light bulb size---LED. are you saying that the gs350 comes with oem led brake/tail lights? i engaged the brakes at night and they dont seem to be LED bright....

 

Which bulbs would I need for the lights above your head that turn on when the mirror is open? Also which light bulb for the trunk?

 

That chart just says LED for the Brake light and tail light bulbs. Not much help. Anyone know exactly which bulbs to buy for these? LED's come in different lengths so I need to know which LED to get for these.

 

Last I checked burny, the taillights and brake lights aren't changeable. I believe they're soldered onto a board.

No, I am going to replace the trunk switch next week and was going ahead and replacing the bulbs while doing it. Guess I can do license plate light and backups. So when the tail lights and brake lights fail, you have to get an entire new board? Man that was a great design. Almost as great as this cheesy trunk switch cover.

 

By the way, I just replaced the mirror puddle lights with Sylvania premium white LED's. At autozone, a pair of the 194's is $13. Many of the instructions on here talk about popping the mirror out and so on and so forth. I took my plastic trim tool, looks like a putty knife and just popped the light housing out the bottom of the mirror and replaced the bulb. Both sides took under 10 minutes and adds a much needed update.

Awesome thread. Just what I needed.

I am trying to replace DRL, parking, and fog light bulbs, can someone tell me if this would be correct:

2x 2825 (led blue/white) for parking light
2x 9005 for DRL light (default color)
2x 9006 for (led blue/white) for fog light

I just want to make sure this is correct and will work as the OEM bulbs have.

 

How do you replace the tail lights ?

Hi guys I just bought a 2010 Lexus es how do I change my hids lights to led light ? What is the bulb size for the hid ? Do I need any kits or do I just order the led bulb and switch it out ?
