crap, I just purchased the JDM 9005-Daytime-Running-Lights 9005-led-lights-4

this is craaazy that it is the same bulb. I don't know if i'll install. I purchased an adapter. I wonder if the adapter allows the lights to come on like high-beam.

What 6000k headlights you purchase? I picked up some cheap one's for about $60 which don't light up the road a whole lot, but are good enough. I'm wondering the difference between mine and the Philips Ultinon 6000k.

Just can't justify spending $350-$400 on light bulbs if they are just "a little" brighter.

I got the Garax 6000k for $70. Haven't installed them yet, but I was wondering the same thing. There is another thread on the subject, so I asked one of the vendors who posted there to school me. Hopefully they will reply and then we'll both know.

I couldn't imagine them changing anything, everything should be exact same - but can't confirm 100%.

daytime running lights are the bigger bulbs in the middle. They're the 9005 bulbs. They also serve a purpose as your high-beam bulbs.

Keep in mind, at night however, your parking lights (bulb size 2825) activate when you turn on your headlights, and that will turn your middle lens(where the high beam and DRL is located) back to a OEM color, In case you're looking for a bulb color replacement.

"Parking lights" are in that same housing but in the top corner vs dead center for DRL/High Beam light. They go on when low beam headlights are activated.

Quick quest. I actually took out my drls because i have 6k top and bottom and they looked ugly.... so i took em out and im driving around with no drls and my high beams still work... The ONLY time my drls come on is when my lights are off... But when they r on only my lows and fogs come on.. no drls ... are u sure that there arent two diff bulbs in that housing??

Then you changed what's called the "Parking Light" which turn on when your headlights are on. They are located in the top corner of that housing, while your DRL/High Beam light is directly in the center. If you change those to LEDs you'll loose your high beams, so most people just have them turned off at dealer.

Default LED Parking Light Option?

Is there a preferred place to pick up the LED parking light bulbs? I'm assuming that these are just the LED version of the 2825 bulb. A recommended retailer or link would be awesome.

As for the high beam/DRL and fog light bulbs, I changed mine out to the new XLE (Sylvania 'Zenon fueled' bulbs, I think that's right), and they look fairly decent compared with the stock low beam lights. They aren't perfect in color, but are close and provide very good brightness in the high beams.

You can go with these:

These are a plug and play solution to get a white colored LED bulb in the parking lights!
