So I got in the car today and put it in reverse and it made a weird noise like a machine gun. It was coming from the back possibly from my exhaust. Any ideas?

 

do you have aftermarket exhaust? indeed maybe exhaust hitting the bumper

 

Yes I do. I have tanabe but when I put it in park or drive it stop

 

Just a noise, you didn't feel anything?

Sounds almost like wheel hop to me, but you would feel that. Were you driving on uneven or gravelly road? I'm a little confused about whether it does it when you're moving or not.

 

sounds like it's possible. my tanabe rattles on the rear bumper a little when in R
