Default tanabe exhaust help

i recently installed the tanabe medalion exhaust and a couple things dont seem right.

1. did the exhaust come with any gaskets? i didnt see any gaskets in my box and installed it directly onto the round flange (picture below, credit to kpred1970).

2. i'm getting quite a bit of cabin noise around 2-3k rpm. is that normal? i know exhausts have a break in period, and my car was smelling like an LA hobo for the first few hundred miles, but it seems close to being worn in. is the exhaust expected to get quieter? i'm at about 600 miles now.

It does not come with Gaskets. and as for the cabin noise, its normal with this exhaust, it may get a little quieter with time. The only smell I got with mine was a burnt smell behind the car... also normal, its something they mention in the manual... not sure if its the same smell you are talking about.

Ahh ok. Thanks guys. Hoping its going to get better over time. Theres still a slight burning smell. Its not as bad as the first few hundred miles. Its a love and hate relationship at this point.
