Default Headlight condensation.

Hey does anyone know if the condensation in headlights is covered under warranty, or if there is a TSB for the headlight.

it's a hit or miss.

if there's a lot of water inside, it will be replaced under warranty.

if there's a little and evaporates within the day, it's not covered. But it also depends how ignorant your service guys are. You might get lucky.

post a pic if it's nasty

Why would they replace both if only one has water in it?

mine has water stains as well.

they actually look like gooey stuff dripping down the side near the orange reflector. it's not really noticeable though.

my dealer wouldn't replace mine. I'm too lazy to go to the next dealer, 25 miles away.

I had them both replaced, for condensation problems it would be harder because they asked me to bring in the car when condensation happens so they could take a picture and would replace mine. Its just everytime i tried driving to them it would dry up.

wow. they replaced it without even looking at it?

according to the owner's manual, it's supposed to dry up the way you described..... in one road trip.

i've wanted new headlights too.
