I recently picked up an 06 300 CPO. While driving at night, the driver side seems darken to a blackish color as opposed to the blue tint like the main rearview and passenger mirror when struck with lights from behind. Is this normal? The dealership is saying it's how the GS normally operates.

 

Was the side mirror ever replaced?

 

not by me, maybe from the previous owner? I just purchased the car.

He also admits that the color is different but states that it's working fine. It's just that, it's a little harder driving at night trying to adjust my eyes with the different colors and brightness. Would I be out of line, demanding for it to be replaced?

 

I have same exact problem Driver side blueish while passenger is dark purple only when the light hits on it. Its weird but they were never replaced so I will just call it normal.
