I just purchased a used Ls 430 and I have noticed that that the driver side mirror image is distorted. In daylight too, the objects appear near and distorted and I can't judge where the vehicle is. At night time it becomes impossible to drive as lights so much glare that I can't judge the vehicle distance from behind. The passenger side mirror is perfect. I have been driving other cars for 5 years and this is the first time I have faced this. Can I get the glass replaced? It is driving me crazy. I like in the UAE
Wow. I just think that my driver side mirror is a plane mirror and passenger side is a convex mirror. Just take a look at the pic.
Now for the solution. What do you guys advice
Can I change only the glass without change the whole mirror assembly
How do I make sure the glass is plane or convex before purchasing
Is it the same for all US spec cars?
Are GCC or Japanese specs different for the side mirrors
