Question about upgrading Audio System on '07 GS 350

Question about upgrading Audio System on '07 GS 350
Hey all - I'm looking to upgrade my audio system a bit, and wanted some advice. I went to my local audio shop, and they told me it was very hard to modify the stock system. I have navi 6.1, but do NOT have mark levinson. I'm fine with not being able to adjust the stock system much, as I don't want to mess with the dash, but I do want a couple of things. I'd like:
1) Satellite radio (I have the sharkfin antenna - is there anything else I need?)
2) Ipod Connectivity (I've seen a product names something like "PXAMG" or "PGHTY1" - is this a good unit? Will I be able to scroll through my Ipod songs on the navi screen? Is there a better product out there? Do I need to upgrade my navi?)
3) Upgraded Speakers (I'm thinking about just getting a 12" Kicker woofer in the rear and keeping my stock speakers - anyone have any thoughts on this? Do the stock mids and highs sound ok to you guys? Is Kicker a good brand? Any input is helpful!)

1) you need the actual satellite hardware
2) Vaistech makes a good kit. Its plug and play but its require removing some things to install
3) you can always get the 4080 enclosure and an amp to power the sub

Thanks IXI187IXI. A few more questions:
1) So do I need to order the hardware for satellite and install it somehwere on my dash? Like, I need to go get the XM headunit? I was hoping that all the satellite functions would come through my navi touchscreen...
2) Is Vaistech thought of as a better product than the PXAMG? Maybe I'll search for a thread on some comparisons
3) Not sure what the 4080 enclosure is? I plan on getting an amp for the sub for sure.

Hey there,
1) Here is where you can get the XM radio. It is installed in the trunk and plugs into the shark fin. Your OEM radio will work perfectly. The install is fairly simple, the main labor is removing the trunk lining.

2) I love my Vais Tech. I have the SL2iC model.
