I have searched the entire forum on how to replace the interior LED's, specifically the front and rear dome lights (the 2 dots that turn on when the door is opened). I hear that those LED's are soldered in the circuit board. Is there any DIY threads that would describe how to replace? I also want to change the courtesy door lights.

I'd appreciate any help. Thanks.

 

yeah the door lights I asked as well there is some wire cutting involved, and I'm gonna guess on the interior ones and say yes I think it is gonna require wire cutting.

Hmm... i want to cut wirres in door lights, cuz there is no standart 194 socket. It is not possible to change bulbs.

Dome lights = interior lights ?
No! the same story. OEM housing with OEM Lexus LEDs. Not standart socket.

You can change easily only these lights (see atached pic)

"Do it yourself" consists only of cutting two wires
So there will be no DIY if i do it. Just lots of pics.

Here is DIY in few words - you remove LED housing from door, unplug or cut the wires, stick the V-Leds small circuit on original LED housing, connecting wires to new V-Leds circuit board and that's it!

OK, I will show in pics. But it will take me 1 month to get this V-Leds circuit boards. Then I will show in pics, step by step if you wish.

Are you holding the button "down" (unlock) too long?

 

There is a guy On here called the led guy he can do any type swap you want to do with your interior lighting even if it's soldered in place. He does complete dash swaps in less than a day to swap out every dash light in the dash check him out on here

 

Damn I wanted to do that but havent found the bulb for it.

 

If you want to change the interior LEDs look up the LEDGuy on the vendor list. He did my interior dash and door LEDs. Yes they are all soldered on the board.
