Default help help help.....

I think i'm screwed i just tried to replace my daytime running lights with led lights and in the final moment everything was working then i went for a stupid mistake by getting a tissue paper to wipe down the decoder and it sparked and my daytime running light no longer works. I'm lucky everything else works so i hope it's just a fuse if it's a fuse which fuse is it please help me it's killing me i did such a stupid thing.

well first start by checking the fuses under the hood. it should tell you what fuse controls what. if its not a blown fuse, who knows what it could be. electrical problems can be a nightmare.

lol, damn dude! lets just tell him the car will explode lol. should just be fuse. most things are wired in a way that if something like this happens a fuse will go before anything else is damaged. not sure what exactly happened or how big but should just be a fuse. the problem now is finding it.get a small fuse tester.

Ok... YOUR CAR WILL EXPLODE. It is a combustion engine after all.

Electrical can be hell, you hope and wish it's just a fuse but I've seen many times the fuse didn't burn but other stuff did.

tony408, see if you can wire it directly to the battery to test see if it works without the car controller. Basically test your LED setup without hooking it to the car. This will illuminate the car's electrical side.

lol, guess it was just a fuse. ive done many stereo installs, and even h.i.d installs. i know that there is a possibilty of it being something more serious. but when someone writes HELP! i dont htink they want to hear the worst case scenario. maybe not yet.....
now becareful when wessing with electrical components. if something does happen thats serious. you will bash your own head into a wall trying to figure it out. and then pay out the *ss to repair it.

I feel your pain.....but this has to be the thousandth post about people creating issues because they are messing with bulbs. Electrical issues are a pain and they can cost big money to Dx and repair. I wish you luck buddy
