lol i bought it from Santa Monica Lexus, it has price tag for 33k which i thought i would pass but i thought i would check out whats special about this price anyway... as I walk in with the salesman he said they just drop the price down few hours ago to 28k i thought it was some salesman trick.. But before this car I checked some around SoCal area test drove a few beat up one they want 30k for it NOT even a CPO and they are really beat up of course, i would want to drive the price down a bit more but they told me if they would just give it to auction lot. I really needed a car anyway and this one has everything i need so after few hours of talking and paperwork i drove this car back to Vegas the same day

I feel OK w/ how much I paid, it's not necessarily that I paid too much (maybe $1500 too much), but you just got a really good deal.

Love my Lexus!

5/15/12 Purchased
2007 GS 450h
62,500 Miles.
Dealer was asking $24,999.
Paid $24,050 after taxes title and registration. Add $20 for emissions testing.
Clean title. Only option it does not have is the variable suspension.

I Traveled from Connecticut to Philly to get it. I use NADA's site which I have an account in. It always comes up a little higher than KBB in terms of value, booking the car @ just over 30k in perfect condition. I feel I got a decent deal.

I do an excessive amount of drive between Boston and NYC for my job (53,000 miles last year!), so I plan to drive this until 80-85K and hopefully break even or make some $ on it. Its going to be hard to part with it in less than a year. I've done this with 2 other GS's and 05 and 04 having broke even on both of them after racking up 20-30K.

Best of Luck

Easy. Make sure the purchaser buys the car for less than what its worth. Have the same purchaser hide the car from the other salesmen till you get there. Have the purchaser sell you the car for just over what he payed for it.

Have the purchaser be long time school buddies with the owner of the dealership that he works at. So he can pull all this off
Be one of the purchasers good buddies so he does all this for you.

I got extras added to that price. 125k mile warranty, Gap insurance, Plus I got to rip all the nice crap off my trade in GS (which was bought by the dealership over book price)

I know I got the deal of the century. I also know who i have to give a kidney to if he needs it.

'06 GS430 fully loaded (minus pcs and radar cruise)
128K miles
Paid $17.4 before fee's and taxes

I had to get this since my IS300 got totalled. High miles, but car drives a-ok. Nothing wrong, and previous owner serviced at Lexus. (Extensive records )
