They should rename their business from "service and repair" to "service and replace"

I also have an 07 GS350. After a couple of months and many wheel cleanings went back for the dustless brakes. This year the brakes were squealing bad when I was driving slow. Neighbors knew when I was leaving in the AM. Took it back for the windshield rattle and mentioned the brakes. They replaced the pads and shims under a TSB. At least that's what they told me and charged me nothing. So far, very quiet.

Between the rattles and squeaks it's been an acoustical adventure. Right now very quiet. Waiting for the cold weather for the stress test.

HMM... after my pad change I feel a slight decrease in stopping power + rims are not as dusty... so I am guessing I got the tsib pads.. which tbh are not what I was looking for. How can I make sure?

They should replace the shims, pads, and front rotors under a new TSB last year. It should be free of charges.
There will be an increase in stopping distance with new pads & rotors.
I am not heavy on gas pedal so it's not a problem.

Do you have a link where I can find this TSB?

I subscribe to alldatadiy.com.
If your car is still under basic warranty, the repair should be free. Or if you brought up this issue before the basic warranty expired, it should also be free of charges.
This TSB is different from excessive dust pad TSB.
My service dealer did the dust pad TSB, but it only lasted a few weeks and the noise
even got worse.

I had to wait for several months while Lexus engineers worked on the new rotors.
Had the repair done last June 09. So far no noise.

Here's the TSB#.

Interesting. Hadn't noticed anything. But now that I'm aware I'm sure I will.

Yes replace the pads with oem pads if it doesn't help replace the rotor on the side that squeaks. I had the same issue but was solved with oem pad. Lucky me.
