Default steering wheel noise

So I've noticed a noise coming from the base of my steering wheel whenever press the engine start button and the it moves to where I've set it. Does anybody have that issue?

I've been having problems with my 07 350. After the steering wheel is in the normal driving position I continue to hear noise coming from the steering wheel base around the instrument panel. My P/S light stayed on for a while after start up the other day. I have also been having problems with my side mirrors not tilting down in reverse, or not tilting back up when they do actually tilt down in reverse. I wonder if all this is related.

well the sound isn't every single time and it's only when the steering wheel moves. I dont know if it's the motor or something.

your plastic gears in your mirrors are broken. take it to lexus and they will replace them with new mirrors.

My dealer just keeps blowing me off since they aren't pulling any error codes for my power steering. So, I just keep complaining about the dang thing every time something happens. This leaves a nice document trail when something major happens - even after warranty.
