Default Loving my ML Multi-DVD

I have alot(ALOT) of downloaded movies in .avi format, which are not compatible with most DVD players. I thought I could just burn a CD or DVD with the .avi file and then just pop it into the DVD player and it would play, but that's not the case. I did figure out that with Nero 7, I can make a Video CD that actually plays in the ML DVD player...SO F'IN HAPPY!!!

Do you have to mod and do the nav bypass or just burn as video cd and put it in and play?

Are you serious? Why not just do it and find out?

As far as in car video is concerned I still think the best bet is to use one of the ipod integration units right now. And that's only because none of the USB units support video. The ultimate would be something like the GROM USB2 or or vais VML units that would read divx/xvid. You can buy DVD players that do this for like $20, so I can't imagine what the holdup is.

That's the only downside, it took about 1.5 hours for it to convert/burn Transformers 2.

I don't think the nav mod/bypass needs to be done as it is played through the actual ML DVD unit.

yes the unit can play video cd format, i have mentioned it a few times before. video quality is ok, not as good as dvd, but on such a small screen, while noticeable but i don't think it's that bad neither

you don't need any bypass to do this. it's the capability of the system itself

You are better off not converting to VCD. You might as well just convert it straight to DVD if you want the best quality if your source files are a good DVD encode.
