Do our trunks leak??

It seems as though everytime I throw my gym bag in the trunk, it is very damp when I take it out. At first I thought it was just some snow that had made its way into my trunk when I brushed the car off. Today, however, it was 40 degrees, which would have given any snow in there plenty of opportunity to melt. Same deal though; the bag was wet when I took it out. Do our trunks leak?? Anyone else have this problem? The car is brand new (2009 GS 350, about 1K miles). Someone please tell me Im just nuts, lol

put dry paper towels in there and see if it still leaks.

Wash the car and then check right after. I've never noticed any wetness in mine.

Is there anything else in the trunk which could release moisture to the air? Damp interior lining due to snow having melt there a few days earlier?

there is a drain tube that may not be connected. If I recall its on the Drive side of the car. maybe check this to make sure.
