PU = Polyurethane is alot better, but Japanese aftermarket company's dont make kit in PU
It is cheaper to make a body kit in FRP, this is why its so popular, also its very easy to modify and repair compared to PU, but its very unlikely u would ever need to repair PU as its very flexible and almost impossible to crack.
yea a urethane kit is very hard to crack but it is crackable. you really have to drive and hit somethin to crack it.

actually a few japanese companies have body kits made with pu type material now i believe. wald is one that comes to my mind. my ls460l except the front, both sides and rear were pu/abs type
