Nav system DVD lables

Can someone help me understand how the labeling works? I have a Gen 4 DVD and am looking for a 7.1 or 8.1 map as an upgrade to my original disk. Can anyone explain what "U31", "U20", "U50", "W41" or "U90" mean? I can correlate them to generation or year.

If I want aGen 4 version 7.1 or 8.1, what would the label be?
