Default First time Lexus owner here!

Hello everyone. Just wanted to introduce myself. I am the proud owner of a new 2009 GS 350 AWD. This is my first ever Lexus, and I must admit, I am a bit skeptical (just turned in my 07 530i, and I was always a German car guy - mostly BMW). Ive had the car for about a week, and so far so good. It's definitely growing on me. Glad to join the board!

Congrats and welcome to CL. Which color combo? And as an avid German car fan, what convinced you to make the switch?

Thanks! It's Starfire Pearl with Parchment leather and Golden Bird's-Eye Maple. Really, I had no complaints with the Bimmer. It was a awesome car; I just wanted a change of pace, and the lease price was right!

I am always curious as to why a diehard German car fan would cross over to the "dark side". I am assuming reliability issue. You never know though

Thanks for the welcome guys. Nothing really happened that drove me to Lexus. As I said, I just wanted to try something different. The Bimmer was actually a great car; really had no issues whatsoever. Sometimes you just want a change of pace
