Default Foul odor!

my gawd, there's this foul odor coming from my windshield wipers and the headlight washers!! i tried flushing it 3 times.... smell only FADED, then about a month later it came back! came in to claim my ext. warranty and they told me they'd most likely charge me 65 for it.... just to simply look at it, and if nothing needs replacing then they'll have to go through with charging me 65$

any suggestions before i jump the boat and go for it? i think something crawled up in that ***** and DIED!

pop the hood and see if there's rat droppings in there.. or some rodents, they love to crawl into the warm engine bay

I killed a rat by starting my car a few years ago! I guess it was sitting near the fan when I cranked it up. I heard a aloud noise and saw fur flying out from under the hood. Thought it was the neighbors cat at first! Had to get the car towed to the shop because a belt got knocked loose.

dude its only $65. Let them figure it out. At $65 its not a plunge as much as it is a dip of your toe into the water. LOL

but that's only to simply look at it... i'm sure if i dismantle the windshield washing system i can figure it out for myself... if anything they'll probably tell me to replace the tank etc etc. and i have to pay for that.... since it's not under warranty

uhh, yeah... i smelled coolant before lex? and bro, that's NOT coolant hahaha.... this has a sour/garbage odor to it.... you ever had tools left in the rain in your toolbox, and left it to dry without leaving the toolbox open? it's sort like that smell, i believe the guy said the windshield wiper fluid went sour or something.. YEEEUCK!

thats what the dealer said, but i doubt it cuz it contains methanol....unless all the methanol dissipated (i know this because some cheap assed turbo miata owner considered using windshield wiper fluid for his methanol setup)
