I think black roofs (usually from a dual sunroof or panoramic roof on sedans) look great on cars with tinted windows on non-black cars, it connects the front windshield to the rear windshield. I think it's one of the best styling features that some new cars have these days

A newer Mercedes Benz E class looks amazing in white with tinted windows and the panoramic roof. Same goes for Mercedes Benz SL with the glass roof. The roof makes these cars look 2x as good.

I think the fact that this looks good is the exact reason why on some cars with dual sunroofs, they paint the roof and areas around the sunroofs, instead of painting the rest of the roof around the glass openings like on a traditional single sunroof.

I saw a white BMW E46 M3 with black wheels with white stripe on the lip, very dark tinted windows, and he painted the roof black to connect the look of the sunroof and windshields. The only paint you saw above the mirrors was the 3" wide strip along the pillars. Love that look.

i have it done on my car but i think it only looks good on certain colors like white and silver but the windows must be tinted to pull it off

never seen a 3GS without a sunroof before. Not an option in US AFAIK.

I like the concept of a Black room or in some cases Carbon fiber roof such the one on the new M3. And it looks best on a white car......I am not so sure about silver car.
