Default Water leaking in my sunroof..

Hi everyone has water coming in from sunroof. Well today i drove my car into the drive thru car wash and see water pourin in even with it is close. I think my rubber around the sunroof is worn down i even can move it around with my hand on top of the glass.

So the question is HOW CAN I REPLACE THAT RUBBER AROUND THE GLASS ROOF HAS ANYONE CHANGE THIS BEFORE?

Thanks

Check with the dealer before you go spending money on repairs.

Take it to the dealership right away. You shouldnt be doing work like that on your car. If you get it wrong you are screwed. If the dealership doesnt fix it they are responsible for the repairs.

I recently had the roof liner removed from my car and the fram around the sunroof tightenede. It solved the rattle I had. I wonder if it would have leaked if it rained. I had issue at the car wash though.

another reason why i hate/never use moonroofs.

they either rattle, or leak.

Just take it tho the drive thru and look at the corner of the glass my was drippin the from the back right side you will see it or you can put your hand on top of the glass from the outside and try move it around to see if its loose.

then why don't you buy the weatherstrip yourself, and try to fix it.

Even if your weather strip is leaking, the water should not get inside the car. It should drain out through the drain tubes. Check those to make sure they are not plugged. Look at #8 an #9 in the link privided by dunnojack

i gave you a link for parts.

BUT you should still take it in if it's loose.

maybe it won't be so expensive if it's just a screw loose or something small
