i need your help

i want to remove the nav cp from my car and the consol so maybe i can fix my nav proplem

i mean the nav driver in the pasenger glove box if some 1 knows how to remove the plastic and take the nav box out i will be very thinkfull

what are you trying to do

someone just recently had a thread about this where they changed a setting. I am pretty sure there where detailed pics in that thread if you can search for it. I have never touched it so I am not sure.

my nav sayes that (( plz insert a coorect map disc ))

i found some1 he says he solve the proplem by decharge the batrey inside the nav cp and i did it and it stil dosent work ?

i dont know if something wrong i make some1 put it back but there was 3 plugs behind the nav box but i found 2 cables only ??

i dont know if there is a cable mesing or ist something els ??

cause i bought it nerly used of corse

but i want to solve this thing because it makes me realy anger

if some 1 have an idea ?

 

Are you sure the disk is not 'copied'? Easiest is go to your dealer and ask to borrow one of the working nav CD of theirs and try it in your car and see if it still malfunction.

if i take my car to another contrey if i put ther nav cd it works ?

or the system of the car only works in Us and canda ?

I can't imagine Lexus would put a region lock on the reader nor the nav cd itself.

 

is the disc still in there or is it just asking for the correct disc??

passnu2 i asked for the nav cd the deler sayes it cost about 800$ i dont want 2 buy it then it stel dosent work ?

i dont know if the proplem from the nav box or the cd ?

i tallked to some1 2day and he sayes he will sent me a nav cd to try it if it work then i will buy it for sure

if it dosent then i must try something els i hope the cd works

 

y bother with all the mailing? just go to the nearest Lexus dealer and ask to borrow one of theirs nav cd. I'm sure they likely to have one laying around and I don't see reason why they wouldn't let u borrow to test it in your car right there.
