Speaking of the overhead dome light, that is the only complaint I have with this car, the interior lighting is terrible. It's so difficult to see anything in the back seat at night when opening the doors. I like to check the back seat before I get into a car - for security reasons, and it's just difficult when there is no dome light. No lights come on when I enter the vehicle, maybe it's a setting I haven't found yet??

Hit "DOME" on the button in the console where your lights are, then it should come on when you open the doors. Also, each "SPOT" light should illuminate when the respective door is open unless this has been turned off in personalized settings.

It is there so if you leave windows down, and someone reaches into the car to steal something then the alarm will sound.

Yeah, I think it could be motion sensor. Will give it a try. Cruise control radar controls are all on the steering wheel so I think it's the motion sensor.
